The Hastings is quarried in North Spain from one of the historic slate producing areas.

ISS has exclusivity to the Hastings within the UK, which has quickly developed a respectable reputation as a flat, clean, consistent slate.

It’s a light grey slate with no visible pyrites. The slate offers a textured face with neatly dressed edges.

The Hastings is available in 7mm and 9mm thickness.

Test results: The Hastings slate boasts a W-1, T-1, S-1 rating, meaning it conforms and surpasses all the top UK tests for water absorption, thermal cycle resistance and sulphur dioxide exposure.
