Hastings Ultra

The Hastings Ultra is quarried in North Spain and comes from one of the historic slate producing areas.

ISS has exclusivity to the Hastings within the UK, which has quickly developed a reputation as a flat, clean, consistent slate, one of the best slates available within the UK market today. It is an easily workable slate for any roofer who has the pleasure to use it.

It’s a light grey slate with few visible pyrites. The slate offers a textured face with neatly dressed edges.

The Hastings Ultra is available in a 4mm thickness.

Ultra Grade slates are of the finest quality and are produced from specially selected blocks extracted from the quarry. Ultra-Grade slates give a superior finish in terms of flatness and uniformity with minimal sorting and grading needed on site prior to fixing.

Test results: The Hastings Ultra slate boasts a W-1, T-1, S-1 rating, meaning it conforms and surpasses all the top UK tests for water absorption, thermal cycle resistance and sulphur dioxide exposure.
