As the name suggests the Zamora slate is quarried near the town of Zamora in the Galicia region of Northern Spain. It is surrounded by some of the most famous slate quarries that Spain has to offer. This quality slate is highly sought after, due to its versatility and durability, making it the ideal product for more difficult roofing designs that require large amounts of cutting and detailing.
The Zamora exhibits a blue/grey colour with a small amount of mineral inclusions giving it a unique character when in situ. It has a light textured surface with neat to medium dressed edges.
The Zamora Prime is available in a 5mm thickness.
Prime-Grade slates are of a high quality and good selection, they will require slightly more sorting and grading prior to fixing than the Ultra-Grade, but once done Prime-Grade slates offer a cost-effective solution that will still achieve a flat, uniform appearance on the roof.
Sizes available:
400x200mm
500x250mm
500x300mm
600x300mm
